Trump gets more childish as each day dawns....because he can't get his own way, he has now run off with ball !

He is now cutting his nose off to spite his face.

Really we should be limiting ourselves to one Trump-bashing thread per day. Any more than that and we risking repetitive strain injury.

I said when Mr Trump was elected president, that he was always going to struggle with the way politics works, and how different it is from the business world in which he lived up to that point.

I confirmed that Mr Trump was used to having his instructions followed without question, and his decisions being implemented instantly, and that he would struggle with Congress and being told 'no' quite often.

I take no credit for being proven right - the most amateur observer of human nature could see that Mr Trump was never going to grasp the basics of political office - for which he was, is, and will always be, utterly unsuited in terms of temperament, knowledge, people skills, and generally getting used to not having his own way all day every day.

Considering Trump's credentials were as a successful businessman, then the resignations, and then the disbanding of the committees, is very embarassing.
But Corporate America are just the latest group trying to disassociate themselves from a toxic President.

Trumps problem is that he doesn't understand the job. He has surrounded himself with a bunch of far right wackos, who badly serve the President.

And he seems to not learn by his mistakes, so he keeps repeating them. It is almost as if he has already decided he will not be re-elected, so isn't much bothered about public/world opinion.
Gromit - it does add to the theory that Mr Trump didn't seriously think he would ever be elected - hence his bonkers campaign speeches, but he suddenly finds himself with the job, so he is not trying to hard to either to do it well, or ensure that he will get a second term, which it is increasingly clear he does not want, at any cost.
If that's so, maybe he could resign rather than go out as Samson did?
jim - I'm not sure if his ego will let him walk away.

Impeachment will allow him to assume his default position as President - 'misunderstood and criticised', so I think he will go for that - let's face it, he won't have to try too hard, just carry on carrying on.

Why, you are all so far up your jacksies with hate you cant see anything.

This lefty love in thread proves it.

Go on admit the far left are a problem, why wont you eh?
Trumps Tweets on Companies cause share prices to fall:

Last night he Tweeted against Amazon..

Amazon - shares fell $5.7bn
Boeing - shares fell by $1bn
Lockheed Martin - shares fell by $3.5bn
Toyota - share fell by $1.2bn

Obviously anyone with prior knowledge of these Tweets (or even encouraging them) could make huge amounts of money dealing on the markets.

Trump runs the White House like it's the Sugababes.
Now come on all you lefty wefties leave that nice Mr Trump alone. It's not really his fault he hasn't got a clue what he's doing. His daddy only gave him a million bucks to start his empire. What's a poor boy got to do to earn some respect. You're all very nasty.
ymb, try reading through the comments on this thread. Seriously, I can see only one with any hate in it - the one with phrases like "up your own jacksies".

Everyone else seems to be loving it all, though with perhaps some residual sympathy for Americans who are having to live through it.
// and how different it is from the business world in which he lived up to that point. //

yeah but ... no but

when trump was a business man he didnt expect the press to print what he wanted - whereas now to paraphrase Spicey ( my fave!)
it is "Listen up you monkeys and print this!"

As the Duke of Wellington said - when I give my orders to the cabinet - - - they think it is a basis for discussion !
Jim, //Any more than that and we risking repetitive strain injury.//

Did you mean ‘brain’ rather than ‘strain’?

(I’m sure I posted something similar here a little while ago –- but maybe not. I see a removed answer but … no. Not a broken rule in sight. I must be mistaken).
// we should be limiting ourselves to one Trump-bashing thread /day. Any more and we risk repetitive strain injury.//

no I am sorry that should be:

// we should be limiting ourselves to one Trump-bashing thread /day. Any more and we risk repetitive BRAIN injury.//
damn - s/o got there first !

Jung had something to say about it - group consciousness I think
and or synchronicity
PeterPedant, exactly. For once we agree. Hurrah!!
The minute Trump stops being terrible at his job, the minute these threads will become redundant.

I honestly think that the job is too big for him. Take for instance his claim that he's created a million jobs since becoming President.

It's like he thinks we are all going to be taken in by that.

It's offensive.
JIM,20.48 yes but Samson only needed his hair cutting off for him to lose his Power, not sure what Trump needs cutting off?.

Its OK to heap scorn upon Jeremy Corbyn, and anybody else in the Labour Party, but when I or anyone else point out the obvious flaws in Trump, its because we are "full of hate"

Well....that's OK then isn't it !
