But still as some will say, "they have always done this on Bank holidays, it is just that we didn't get to know about it, back then".

Oh I know why, it is because I happen to hold a different opinion to the Girl Gangs and liberal lefties who gather in this mainly Left-Wing site.
lmao off Eccles don't give him true facts!
You know he can only cope with Daily Wail facts!
AOG, I think your response is a cop out - you need to look closer at yourself.

I think I'll leave this thread with a message to the moderator who is wildly removing things, some of which did not (in my opinion) did not need to go.

It's hard to find the gumption to reply when the question you're answering has gone.
^ strike one of those 'did nots'
I agree. There has been a little over zealous pruning today.

Why should I waste my time answering your baiting questions when they are removed, whilst the baiter's posts continue to remain.
Phew, you nearly had to be honest about your national service there AOG!
Final point.

I hope the Mod responsible is reading and taking note, if they are new to the role perhaps seek guidance from Ed tomorrow.
To have fought in WW2 you would have to have been 18 by 1945 - which equates to 90 years old by now.

I'll sit quietly and take "I was there and you weren't" rants from anyone aged over 90 - but otherwise I reserve the right to reply quite forcefully.

How old is AoG?

That is the reason that more and more members are leaving the site, but these Moderators seem to ignore that fact.

For starters Moderators should not be allowed to take part in debates, as it seems obvious that they can't remain independent.
I think he's mid 80s Dave.
It happened in my day, AOG
Debates? Where's the debate? I only see someone avoiding answering tricky questions and making racist remarks.

I do not allow any of my personal information to be discussed on AB, so you will just have to put up with the one piece of information most know of and that is the fact that I was in the Royal Air Force, but then perhaps you did not know that or you would have realised that the Airforce do not fight in trenches.

Also to the obvious uneducated as you seem to be, there were many conscripted men who did fight in the trenches and in the air during both world wars.

And there were many National Service lads who fought and even gave their lives for this country even after WW2, so please do not belittle them.

Never mind your granddads, what have you ever done to for this country, except reap the benefits earned by those who have given part of their lives in service to this country.

And when I think of you, don't get me thinking of certain words beginning with a certain letter, that fits you perfectly.

So many removed answers this thread has become a nonsense. I don't know about AOG's age but clearly we are all considered children.
Conscripted then.
Oh your so funny AOG but I think you are telling porky pies about the RAF tbh.
Oh and I have done loads for this country thanks including serving it for 21 years!
