But the fact remains, Islamists do not represent Islam anymore than the KKK represents Christianity.

Surely, is it easier to look in the mirror and say "I am going out to murder innocent people because their existence offends my god, and they must die ..." rather than look in the mirror and say "I am going out to murder innocent people because I am a psychotic maniac and I like killing people." which is actually the uncomfortable truth.

I'm not defending anyone who commits a crime, just the assertation that the ONLY people who commit crimes are non-white, immigrants or muslims - if you get all three in one crime, i presume that's the AOG version of a full house?

My point was that the relatively small number of terrorists do not represent a larger threat from Islam as a whole - they simply like killing people, and have a convenient peg to hang their abhorrent behaviour on, to make themselves feel better.
But to they represent a threat from Islam ? No - they are a threat in and of themselves, and need to be seen as such.

It was you that stated there was no evidence of that fact, and I merely produced the evidence, that there were indeed some who would rather go to the trouble to search for evidence that there were some bent white indigenous cops, than see (in this case) Muslims up for criticism.
Had my question been "Why are there Muslim bent cops" then I could have expected evidence that it just wasn't Muslim cops, but I didn't, so their exercise in providing evidence was simply to steer away from the fact that these particular bent cops happened to be Muslim.
A time honoured practice when the likes of ethnic majorities come up for criticism.

I was under the impression that Islamists do represent Islam, why else are they called Islamists?

For your ideals to work we would now have multi terrorist attacks, and mass savage executions being carried out, on certain none believers, gays, adulterous wives etc, all in the name of every religion on earth, but we don't only from those who follow the Islamic faith.

Not Muslim Police Officers, you understand.
Never mind the misery and maybe death, these two officers and the rest of their gang have caused, especially bad because of the position that they held in society.
But instead witness how soon the defenders of Islam jumped on their bandwagon in defence of that peace loving religion, seeing that these two particular officers just happened to be Muslims as well.
