Well maybe it was *meant* to be satirical, but this is what I mean by the whole "know your audience" thing. Twitter is public. It's stupid for a public figure to like such a comment, whether they were treating it as a joke or not, because any humour is going to be lost by the (total lack of) context.
And even that's assuming that it was meant to be funny to start with.

The Tweet came from a Satirical site.
Does this mean that we can't agree that we like satire unless we go to a lengthy expostion of the underlaying themes with which we are dis/agreeing and acknowledge that there may be an element of discomfiture to those also reading but that we understand that the comments are simply to provoke a reaction and to make people consider the validity of their opinions and deconstruct their own Shibboleths?
That's far too much hard work....

Why should we give her the benefit of the doubt?
This is the same woman who blamed her hatred of Jews last year on 'ignorance'.
If she was being ironic, which I don't believe for a minute she was, why would (a) the like and re-tweet be deleted by her and (b) why would a spokesman say the like and re-tweet was a 'genuine mistake'.
This woman dislikes Jewish people, and it now appears, for the sake of diversity, she would like the girls raped by the Muslim men in Rochdale to keep quiet.
It speak volumes to me about Corbyn that she is one of his rising stars and an ally.
