// I take it the 100,000 will be donated to charity forthwith? //AOG

would you if you had been caught flaunting your tots at Notting Hill Carnival by some photographer touting for gerry-porn ?

AOG later explained to a soaraway sun reporter - "after I was knocked unconscious by a flying beast and hypnotised by the jungle rhythms which drive a white fella of my age maaaaaaad! I woke up smelling of burning automn leaves and " arl my clothes fell arf!". I dont know what hit me and I certainly dont know what came over me - black and throbbing it was, - I would rather forget that day. I think my ginger beer must have been spiked"
LOL ^^^

I take it all back, I forgot that soon there will be another mouth to feed in the Windsor household.
Peter, Peter,Peter - can say no more :-)
How does a third mouth in the Cambridge family affect you AOG?
> gerry-porn

Thanks for that charming image, PP ...
They could buy a lot of condoms with the money and before you start it's a joke
My sides are splitting from such hilarity........not.
No - Condoms are for the common people
Little sympathy. Get them out for an airing whist outside, expect to see them in the foreign magazines. I don't see she's been damaged that much. It looks more an attempt to punish the photographer, which I thought isn't the aim when someone is sued. Funny old world.
I'm darn sure they don't want anyone's sympathy.
She probably hasnt been damaged that much OG, but put it like this, if I were holidaying privately and were topless with someone I was intimate with I'd be less than impressed that pictures of my boobs were published in the foreign glosses for the titilation of others. So, no, probably not much damage other than distress, but honestly the press should know when to draw the line.
Apparently, apart from the damages award, the editor has been fined 40.000 Euros.
OK let's put it like this:-

Mrs Ann Smith on a public beach in Lanzarote goes topless. Pictures are taken and published in a holiday brochure. My view is that Mrs Smith accepted that risk going topless on a public beach.

Same person, goes topless in a private villa round a swimming pool with just Mr Smith present. Photographer takes topless images with a long range telephoto lens and publishes them. Mrs Smith saw no risk, it was private. Why shouldnt anyone be able to be slightly "free" in a private environment?

It seems to me it is basic privacy. The difference being is that HRH has the money to pay for lawyers.
Oh and if anyone is interested, the sun is out here in sunny March so I might just free the girls. Be careful, my lawyers are watching ;)
And this happened in the very same country where the Duchess's late mother-in-law was literally chased to her death by the greedy paps.

£100k will barely cover the Cambridge's legal fees.
I suspect costs will be in addition NoM.....
I really hope so - the more they get stung for, the better.
It's a shame that really punitive damages aren't awarded......the sort that would make Editors think twice before accepting such photographs for publication.
