Well seeing that AOG didn't write the news article merely asked the question, I don't know why he is being attacked .There are numerous countries in the world that are blaming immigrants for the rise in attacks on LGBT people so maybe the answer is yes.

I mind on seeing a Horizon (I think) programme about the activity of sun spots and the effects of them on earth. They go in a cycle of about eleven years and the increase in the sun's magnetic field and coronal ejections is said by some to effect humans.
The programme said that analysis had shown that the lengths of mini-skirts and the sales of Champagne went in a similar cycle. They weren't saying sun spots influence skirt length or champagne sales but it illustrates causation and correlation.

"Is it a possibility, yes or no?" -- How is that even a meaningful question?
I don't think anyone can seriously believe that immigration hasn't had the slightest impact in this country, its culture, and how the people interact. Of course it has.
But for this to be a serious question worth asking, then it follows that you need more than just a statement of the obvious.
So:
"Could This Rapid Rise In Attacks On Lgbt People Be Attributed To The Rise In Foreign Cultures Into This Country?"
a) Do you mean partially, mostly, somewhat or wholly attributable? Obviously the scale of the impact is important, rather than its possible existence.
b) What causes have you to ask the question in the first place? Have you become aware of such attacks being perpetrated in greater numbers by immigrants?
c) Is the level of attribution to immigration that you suspect proportional merely to the rise in the number of immigrants, so that if, say, immigrants are responsible for 10% of attacks, then 10% more immigrants would only lead to a marginal (1%) increase overall? Or do you think that immigrants are disproportionately responsible? Again, what evidence have you for such a claim?
Contrary to andres' sycophantic BA, asking you to provide evidence is *not* an attack. It's a reasonable question. If you are going to link such despicable actions to such a large number of people, it's worth explaining why, for what reasons, and what evidence you have to back up those claims. Otherwise you're just drawing a spurious link and creating controversy for no obvious reason.
I'm not disputing the existence of such a link per se, but I can't see the point in posing a question without any particular evidence to motivate it. And yet you do this all the time.

There's a fashion for victimhood and an increase in the opportunities to indulge it.
It's a criminal offence to 'have an unfriendly attitude' now. Only towards the usual victim groups though. And who decides if you 'had an unfriendly attitude', why, the complainant of course. The world, as they say, has gone mad.

Blimey jim if my question had been as long winded as you suggested it should have been, then along with your answers there would not be the room for any one else to get involved.

I would have thought that enough evidence has been supplied world wide of Islam's known treatment towards gays.
But we know, no matter how serious a crime is, you leftie apologists will go to any lengths to protect those that carry them out, especially if they happen to be committed by anyone foreign.
But strangely enough you don't seem to use the same kind of protection if they happen to be male white Christian any condemnation is allowed against them in your liberal leftie world.
