What do ABers think of the latest attempt by the PC brigade to take offence on behalf of a group they assume should be offended?

I am sure the banks are protecting their own financial security. If they offend "Islam" where are they going to pay all their benefit cheques and Asylum Seekers allowance into?

The mind boggles........ I know my local supermarket has to have its butchers section in an out of sight alcove as not to offend some of our immigrant cousins.

The PC Brigade make people racist, they speak on behalf of different groups without actually asking their opinions and than get everybody elses backs up.  A Muslim phoned into Talk Sport radio today regarding this lunacy, he said nowhere in the Koran etc stated that pigs should offend, only that you should'nt eat them.  The bank is also remiss in not pointing out that pigs might offend Jews who also do not eat pork.  So it just shows you how stupid it all is.

And another thing, no one sticks up for the Hindu's when their sacred cow's are vilified etc.  But I suppose that will come.  Why is it just Muslims that everyone worries about?

Why muslims frizzy?  Errr could be because "one" interpretation of their Koran is that it is pure evil and spreads an anti-west message throughout. Could be because the London Bombings and 9/11 were primarily concerned with Islamis extremists. Could be because we are at war with a Muslim State.

Is this the first step by Banks to ban interest accrued in savings account as accepting interst on your savings is taboo in Islam. In any case interest rates are so low they might as well not pay us any of it.

Excellent! I've been eyeing that 60 quid in my daughter's piggy bank for a while now. Got the perfect excuse to liberate it from the offending item! And with regard the "War on Terror" the "Axis Of Evil" - were / are Iran, Iraq, North Korea. Don't recall many North Korean muslims.

The other countrires mentioned are Libya, Syria and Cuba. Again don't recall many Cuban muslims.

Curious as to why you turn a war on terror / terrorists into a war on religion.

The countires mentioned have the 'potential to pursue' WMDs, which is why the US decided on a regime change. Or maybe it was down to oil. but now apparently it is down to ethnic cleansing.

I've put this elsewhere, I work as a train driver, and we were told not to include the words 'do you', in a sentence on the public address system, because when the two words are joined,and we all say it.
