Corbyn Sings 'the Red Flag'
He can sing The Red Flag, but not the national anthem
He despises the Monarchy and has no life experiences outside of party politics, in all his years as a well paid MP he has continually opposed his own party and never chaired or been asked to chair a single committee and he supports the anti-Semitic fascist Muslim groups dedicated to the destruction of Israel. His 'manifestos' are full of lies and are based entirely on outdated Marxist rhetoric.
Would you want this man to run your country?

He was foisted on the Welsh, as the Tories didn't have any MP of sufficient stature from within its own ranks to fill the job of Governor General. His inability, at least, to be able to sing the Welsh national anthem was nothing in comparison to his total lack of empathy with the severe social problems that Wales at at the time.
Of course, he really proved his worth when his subsequent 2 attempts to stand against John Major resulted in utter defeat.
I recall the Plaid Cymru Leader at the time saying that Redwood was "about as popular in Wales as a rat sandwich"
A yesterdays man if ever there was.

"He's hardly going to be any worse or better then any past PM. He can have a go at running the country, and realigning the balance between rich and poor in society, but not yet. We've more important issues, such as getting our country's sovereignty back, first. "
And that comment neatly sums up the terrible state of our politics.
One outdated political philosophy put on hold while an even more outdated one takes precedence. Our neighbours are moving back to France. I envy them in many ways.

andy; //whatever else Mr Corbyn may or may not be, he is true to his principles, and this is simply further proof of that. //
Being true to one's principles is not in itself an accolade, it depends largely on what those principles are, if those principles are based on a clapped-out Marxist ideology which patently failed on the first time around, then only a fool would subscribe to them.

Mikey, //so why is Corbyn and the labour Party so popular now ? I don't think their policies are the product of "a clapped-out Marxist ideology". I very much doubt that any ordinary voter will now what that means !//
You’ve answered your own question. If you don’t think their policies are the product of a clapped out Marxist philosophy, then clearly you, as an ordinary voter, don’t know that that means. All you see is something that’s ingrained deep into your psyche – the Labour of the past – which in actual fact is long gone and never likely to return. Nevertheless, rather than do the honest thing and actually listen to what’s being said by the so-called Labour of today’s world and use that to re-evaluate your position, you cling to your pipe-dream regardless. Rather than take a step back and actually ‘think’, you would see your country flounder under the unworkable philosophy of power-mad throwbacks – and all for the sake of your rosy fantasy. I see nothing to be commended in that.

Any policy that gives away money, goods or services for nothing and paid for by 'the few' is going to be popular. That doesn't make them workable.
However back to the OP.
The reason he was happy to sing, possibly with gusto, the Red flag and not the national anthem is because he believes in the cause of the red flag but not in the nation and sovereignty.
I wonder if that would still be the case if he were in power and realised how much his hands would be tied by the EU?

Every Conference season the individual parties get fired-up and the attendees go around high-fiving each other and congratulating themselves on their collective performances and tell the party faithful to "Go back to your constituencies and prepare for government".....
Utterly oblivious to the fact that the greater part of the population have barely given these 'triumphs' a moments thought.
Any conference (of whatever kidney) is simply a case of preaching to the converted.

Mikey, their policies only popular because by your own admission the ordinary voter doesn’t understand what he’s voting for – and that clearly includes you. Their policies are unworkable – their philosophy has never worked - and if your wishes come true that will be evidenced. As for getting used to it, on a personal level it matters not to me. I would rather our country continue on a financially healthy path but if the worst happens I can afford it. Can you?
