I can remember people saying that the 2 Germany's could never be reunited but in the end, that is exactly what did happen.

I think the place would fall quickly and consider it a liberation. Most of the population are starving. Expect a bit of resistance from the hierarchy protecting their position but most of them would love to be saved from this despot. One aircraft carrier could take out most of the threats in one go. I think it needs sorting for the safety of the region and also for the poor s0ds that live there.

Note that NK "says" it will reach all the USA. As far as I am aware no missile has yet to get anywhere near them, indeed Japan seems to be the in range country. Not saying it wont but as yet no proof of range so there is still time menaing something must be done about the despot soon.

China will need to get off the fence soon or risk being ostracised by most of the Western World (and probably other countries)

I think you'll find that when the septics do start dealing with NK the kitchens will probably jump up and down a bit but privately be very relieved. NK are like having an embarrassing mate that is always picking fights in the pub that you cannot quite shake off!

China is I think the world's third largest creditor nation (behind Japan and Germany), so anyone planning to ostracise it might be advised to check their bank statements first. About a third of US debt is owed to China, more than a trillion dollars.

I'm not sure what you are trying to get at there jno.

If China kicked off then no one is going to pay their debt to them and no credit agency is going to down grade based on what would then be seen as a debt to a "rogue" Country.

So if anything you seem to be backing the idea that China will have to fall in line.
