The PC was in his personal office, and the porn viewing was done on his account, and was inextricably mixed up with all the other things that he used the PC for.

Maybe not any of us, but the IT fella on Radio 4 a few minutes ago certainly gave the impression he knew what he was talking about.

So on information available I'd say he did.

What's odd is that in-between the images being downloaded ,emails were being sent by him ,documents worked on from the computer on his desk ,all through his own log in account

How do you explain that ?

Probably. Bit naughty on a work computer. Especially as malware isn't unknown and more likely to be encountered on some sites than others. But is an internal matter and seems to be causing more public grief than it should.

I think that if proven the offence is slight , not something for anyone but his immediate family to concern themselves with. The fact ,again if proven, that he consistly denies it would be worrying in a MP.

I heard the IT guy too and yes he gave a convincing account. My only doubt is I have and do work in a public sector office type place for many years and know, although it's an absolute no-no, that people do give their passwords and log-ons to other team members, leave the PC logged on and walk away etc etc. I really don't know if he did it or not. Pretty devastating for him if he didn't.

The Radio 4 interviewee said the sites had been accessed for a fair length of time in total in between sending/receiving emails and viewing documents.
It was on Green's desk, in Green's office and accessed through Green's password.

Baz....if Green didn't view these porn images, then the only other explanation must be that A N Other was lurking, very close to the PC, and used it for a few minutes, every time Greens back was turned !

I's not illegal, cannot be proven either way so why are we wsting time on this when there are far more important things to be done.

The only question I wold ask is why such computers are not locked down and prevented from accessing sites like these?

In all probability he did it but the real "crime" here is that we had a minister of state who's too stupid to not leave a trail on his work computer!
