Her chance of a medical career was reduced to zero as soon as she was convicted. No matter what else happens she is NEVER going to get a position as a doctor. I was surmising she may have realised that, and was taking the chance to get more expierience of legal procedure with a hope of changing her career to the legal profession rather than the medical profession.
