Belfast certainly doesn't need these people spreading their vile message - on the Peace Wall of all places. I have seen this tactic used so often before: use outspoken language, almost daring people to react - then when the reaction DOES come bleating about "free speech". The fact that there worse people in the world is no defence

Naomi....if I gave the common sense answer, along the lines of ::::: Everybody should condemn Islamic Extremism".....then you, and other supporters of BF will seize upon that as an appreciation of the organisation.

But if you want me to say "Everybody should condemn Islamic Extremism" than so be it.
Mikey, So is that a definite 'No, they are not wrong' .... or can't you quite bring yourself to say that?
Question Author
Naomi....I have made myself abundantly clear.

Why are you continuing not-to-condemn BF ?
Not really Mikey. a simple 'No' would be clearer.

BF are a minor political group who are of no interest to me Mikey. Only people like you think they're significant enough to get your knickers in a knot over. Bit like the trauma you suffer every time equally insignificant UKIP is mentioned.
One of our thicker posters on AB questioned my condemnation of Anjem Choudary yesterday,

Wow ... how's it go

You know you are winning the argument when the opposition starts with the insults.

I would back my intelligence over yours any day of the week.
That is of course for AB's chugger in chief.

Talbot, I can't see any 'thick' ABers responding to Mikey's post, which as I said earlier, leads me to question his suitability to gauge 'thick'.
The thick AB'er are those of us who dare to disagree with someone. You know those of us who are knuckle draggers, xenophobes, racists and uneducated. Any name they can think of because they dont actually have a rational argument to counter the point made against them.

It's plain to see that BF are just a rabble. However, they also have a point - it is just the way they are going about it. But then you can sort of understand that as a (over) reaction to the way the liberal left have shut down debate with one of the insults above continually.

Bottom line is BF are going now where. My advice to you Mickey is dont give them the oxygen of publicity. And give the old ticker a rest, you only have one!
that is the answer then don't give BF more air time, they are a rabble or so it would seem, and i don't support them no more than the Islamic terrorists.

The person in question questioned my condemnation of Choudary in the past. You and most others on here will know that I have continually condemned Choudary, on many, occasions, and I was just defending my record on that point.

I understand your point about BF, but the difficulty is that there are still many people, especially on twitface, that are still of the opinion that BF isn't really what it is, and that its some kind of cuddly gang of people that are doing us all favours, by being horrid to Muslims, when BF are nothing of the sort.

You can see that, so why can't others ?
I feel the same way about the Islamic terrorists.

Although we need to know atrocities 24hour news feeds from all channels gives them what they want: The spreading of fear aka terror.

The same for any extreme, report on the matter but not excessively.
I wold not worry about TwitFace, social media is full of lies and nutters which is why I dont subscribe to it. Rmember there are upward of 60m people in the country those on TwiFace BF account are like peeing in the ocean.
Question Author
You may be right about twitface YMB...lets hope so.

But BF did have its profile raised hugely, by its recent support by Trump, which was worrying to say the least.

They may appear to be a very small, nutty organisation, but its not me that is raising their profile. Every time they get in the news, it happens.
Mikey, //But BF did have its profile raised hugely, by its recent support by Trump//

Don't be ridiculous.
Why don't you use my name, mikey?

That's right you're not only a coward you are also a childish person who frequently refuses to acknowledge a poster if there is a disagreement.
Question Author
Naomi...people all over the world, who had never heard of BF, could have accessed Trumps twitface posts. You were one of the very few that didn't agree that he was supporting them. You are entitled to that view, of course and we have debated that ad nauseam, but I think you were, and still are wrong.
Raise their profile It certainly did!

They may not have signed up many paying supporters but the apparent seal of approval from the White House was a great boon which they acknowledged. and their followers mushroomed.
Question Author
Itchy...that is obvious !

But I have awarded BA, and unless Golding and Franzen get arrested again, then I shall wait until their Court cases are heard, in early January, before making any further comments.
Mikey, he is the president of arguably the most powerful nation on earth. They are an insignificant, two-bit, petty British political organisation whose numbers don’t add up to very much at all. He didn’t support them – he re-tweeted a few videos. Get real for goodness sake! This constant hysteria over BF, UKIP, Trump., etc., etc., is making you look very silly, and frankly it's becoming tiresome.

Get the massive irony klaxon out ... I and many, many other ABers had never heard of Britain First until you brought them to our attention ... time and time again.
