More Money For Channel Border Security
Answers
^ I don't agree with that, that's what remainers like to think. It was about regaining control and sovereignty over our own laws and making our own decisions about the UK - like which kind of light bulb can we buy.....

Te migrant problem goes way beyond the EU. It is pointless thinking France can just deal with it, we have to help too (within reason).
The alternative is to have the border on our side and that would cause no end of problems especially with the bleeding heart hand wringing liberals.
So yes, pay up and help them. Money well spent.

//BUT where are they getting the money from? //
Border security is an ongoing thing. Le Touquet treaty, signed at a summit between President Chirac and Tony Blair in 2003, it provided for France and Britain to erect juxtaposed border controls in Channel ports. This effectively moved the French frontier to Kent and the UK frontier to Calais.
If we move the border back to Kent it will cost far more (probably in legal aid alone).

Nothing logical about uncontrolled immigration Jack.
I most certainly do not believe in it. I want controlled immigration.
But we have to accept some immigration is necessary for our economy, as Farmers, Market Gardeners, the NHS, etc will tell you.
There is a world of difference between immigrant workers from the EU, and immigrants from other parts of the globe.
