You could, perhaps, have headed this problem off by being clearer about what you wanted to discuss rather than making snarky remarks about how "obvious" it was while muddying the waters with references to Trump speeches. But I get the impression that having a whinge about how inadequate the responses were is part of what you wanted.

Is not also the problem that we have traditionally had a rather stereoptypical view of Sweden as a place of, well, nude mixed saunas (rather a myth that one, or at least not quite what you might think), volvos, Abba, snow and a racially pure, blonde, white socially progressive and let's be honest rather dull country.

No I don't speak Swedish and I would wager that neither does Togo.

Any comment on the words of the Swedish politicians?

This is the same Prime minster who not many months ago refused to accept there was a problem.
What has happened in those few months that he now won't rule out the army on the streets?
