It varies between Airlines, but you can fly up to 37 weeks pregnant on most carriers.
She may have been 36 weeks................

No wonder the NHS (ok not this case) has problems with people flying in.

YMG....How do you know that she was flying one week before she was due?
Obvious in retrospect, but the "labour pains " one week before could have been due to........anything.

Air France doesn't require a Doctor's note when flying in late pregnancy which is probably why she was flying with them.

Thank goodness for a happy ending. I must admit I was surprised she was flying so close to her due date.

She was lucky that there were two doctors on the flight. I am sure that the aircrew are trained for such eventualities but I bet that they were glad that they didn't have to get too involved.

I have known more cabin crew that have delivered babies at 40,000ft than doctors.
