Looks like the lady jailed in Egypt for taking in huge amount of tramadol for friend may be coming home after a pardon....lucky girl... but silly...

It amazes me why they do it, but then again if you look at all the 'fame' one of the Peru Two has got perhaps you can see why. Even if they get caught the fame is good for them. You can profit from crtime these days it appears.

Suspect the Egyptian authorities always knew a pardon would be issued..wanted to send a message ? Agree that it seems wrong to profit from criminal notoriety

She's lucky she's from a country who fights for their citizens. Many countries would have left her there to rot.

She is lucky to have come from a country such as England, there was only - I know I say only, in the greater scheme of drug smuggling 290 is a small amount and it wasn't for profit. In Ireland it can't be bought over the counter, it's prescribed meds

hopkirk, I'm so naive, I must be, I truly thought, he had back pain and could not get the pill that works for him in Egypt and she was decent to bring over what she did, I really didn't think 290 could make that much money, shows what I know of the ways of the world, I be thinking more cocaine mules and the like, not tramadol.

Do we know how she got hold of these prescription only drugs in the first place. She was stupid and possibly naive but she was clearly being used by this dodgy so called boyfriend. Hopefully she's now had the shock of her life and will realise how lucky she's been. Do we know what happened to the boyfriend?
