♫ Melting Pot ♫
What we need is a great big melting pot. Coffee coloured people by the score.
Can't agree with that, ummmm. People tan naturally if they are out in the sun, skin bleaching is a totally artificial process.
Haaaaaa!
Purleaze AOG get a grip & stop inventing ways of stirring things up. We are aware that you do not like any persons who are not
1 Born here of strictly WHITE parentage.
2 Anyone whose skin is not PURE white.
3 Anyone who has the damn cheek to try & live a free life here , away from the ravages of war & give their children a chance of a reasonable life. I personably am getting sick & tired of your negative attitude & no longer wish to read your moanings.
You get my meaning though.
I agree with ummmm. The process is irrelevant, it’s people wanting to look a different shade to what they are.
Crikey, I’m a white person and I’ve made a comment on people’s skin colour. Anyone offended?

Thaought not.
I also wonder why this poster has such a narrow range of obsessions....
Bigotry. Plain and simple.
AOG....What is wrong with making this claim, and why does it matter if that person is black or white ?
Is AOG currently outside digging a large hole?
AOG is quite cunning - he'll run one up the flagpole and see if any one salutes
It's bait, the OP has happily admitted that in the past.
When wandering around Tesco's (Lotus) in Bangkok the other week, I found it odd, and rather sad, that all the beauty skin products, such as good old Nivea moisturiser - all the usual ones we have here - bore labelling which stressed how said product would lighten (even whiten) the skin. I checked fairly carefully and couldn't find an exception. I don't try to tan, by the way, (OH has skin cancers).

I just found it sad that no-one is ever satisfied to be as they are.
I am extremely offended that other people are not extremely offended by the story that extremely offends me. And my cats are upset too.
Discussing her own experience, she said: 'I am the same colour as Idris Elba... There is still colourism today. I still experience that...

OMG ... there's always the next step isn't there.

Anyway, I am fed up with my white tribe being sidelined all the time. We have our feelings too.

I am not getting het up over it, I am merely posting on a news item that may instil debate, but then you wouldn't know about that would you, since you seem to get 'totally confused'?
I apologise for being white, straight, and not into any ISMS. I must be a burden on the society that gave us Lord Nelson, Wellington, Churhill, and Lenny the Lion.
