Yet we are accused of being racist, Far-Right and even worse, if we peacefully protest against our own 'economic' migrants and we are stuck permanently with them, not just during the summer months.

/// I don't understand the point of your post AOG (not for the first time) ///
I can't be held responsible for your shortcomings.
/// Are you saying that these protesters are being hailed as some sort of heroes? ///
No wonder you don't understand matters, where as have I said, that these protesters are being hailed as some sort of heroes?
12 protesters out of the huge number of protesters, committed vast damage to the town's Marina, and have rightly been arrested and punished.

In St Ives - yeah a famous place in Muh-jorka - my brother commented - we pay your wages you know !
and indeed if there werent the tourists then there wouldnt be the shops employing seasonal employees selling tat
St Ives - I was buying bread and said to the breadman what kinds of bread do you have
and he said "look behind me!"
wow well that was me told and I curbed my desires to buy cute specialised expensive cornish bread

Ok. Let’s boil this down to the basics.
AOG is concerned that protesters in this country are being labelled ‘racist’ and ‘far right’ for protesting against economic migrants.
He’s then taken the situation of the indigenous population of Majorca protesting about there being too many tourists (economic tourists, if you’re feeling verbose).
He’s then tried to make a comparison where there is none.
Simple really.

"But on this occasion there are a nation of people who have taken a dislike towards people from other nations, who are causing what they consider a great inconvenience to their way of life, in so much that they want to ban them from their country.
Seems a good interpretation of racism to me. "
The next time ANOTHEOLDGIT mumps about immigrants and their impact on English/British culture , I'll need to remind him about his statement.

/// by your own words these are protesters revolting
not economic migrants..... ///
Are you slow on the uptake but does it suit your agenda not to compare these Spanish protesters reactions against those who they deem a threat to them, to those of ours who pose a threat to our country?
Some in this country peacefully march in protest, but are opposed by the left and those who ban Far-Right groups.

No I am not a racist, that is just a word that those on the left or some who have chosen to settle in this country, wheel out on each and every occasion when one dares to voice their concerns on the negative impact that multi immigration along with alien cultures that have been forced upon us.
Put me down as a patriot who is old enough to remember what a great country the England of ours once was.
And I am not on my own in showing such concern, there is a rumbling of discontent throughout the land, just listen to those around who at the moment are too frightened to speak the truth.

Corby...AOG may or may not be a racist.....we will have to draw our own conclusions from his posts.
But he is one of a dying breed. One who would like us to go back to an older way of life, such as we had here in Britain in the early 50's, before "the black man had the whip hand over the white man"
A time when if you did see a black or brown face, it was normally doing a job that wasn't a threat to us white people. A time when you could easily, and legally discriminate against anybody you didn't like, purely on the colour of that persons skin.
A time when it was OK to put on your Election posters and flyers....."if you want a n****r for a neighbour, vote Labour"
A time when a common sign outside boarding houses was "no blacks, no dogs and no Irish" something my father had to contend with a young man.
We still live in a "great country" of course, but its not that ideal country from AOGs past.

Never mind mikey don't fret, but I am so sorry you missed it, it was great.
But even so, I bet you can still remember, when if one felt poorly, one could ring the Doc and he would come sit at the side of the bed and test you and administer your pills etc. Or when young married couples only had to wait about two years before their name came up for a council house. Or the days when there was plenty of spaces in the schools of one's choice. Or the days when one left school and had the choice of numerous places of employment.
I could go on, but I don't want to make you too jealous.

Back to the OP. Similarly to JTH I live in Bournemouth and we too are swamped with Grockles (and zillions of foreign language students). This translates to high car park charges (for car parks the council tax paid for!) and not being able to use amenities and pubs without a battle.
We holiday in Palma Nova most years, never found any problems except for the British and Germans. If you treat the Spanish right, attempt a bit of Spanish and are polite they dont have a problem with you.
