Did they go with prostitutes, or did they make the people the aid was for, prostitute themselves to get it?
A big difference, unless of course, children were involved.
Charity donations are subjective, and whilst a lot of people are happy for money to go to Oxfam, a lot aren’t. So, taxpayers money is given to a charity that they don’t necessarily support.
Does the government give to medical research or animal charities I wonder?
Time we pulled the plug on all of it, and did away with the Department for International Development altogether.

I have similar thoughts Bigbad. The seriousness of the issue surely relates to whether or not the women(or men) involved were prostitutes and so these people gave them some business, whether aid money was used, whether aid was given in lieu of payment and of course underage.
I have not been able to find a full story on this. Once again it may come down to the indignant and hypocritical West trying to stop people earning a living by their chosen profession.
