if ISIS are ever going to be defeated and it seems a long road, then surely those who wish to fight against them should be allowed to go, are those people saying they could be radicalised and fight against Britain instead.
I understand that, but i don't they should be prosecuted on their return home.

I don't think UK citizens should be allowed to go and fight for any foreign force. If they really want to, they should have their UK passport rescinded.
