How could the EU be persuaded to persuade the UK to stay?

Give up completely the forging ahead with creating a superstate, EU army, EU foreign policy. Stop dictating migration. Stop making EU wide laws. Stop with ever closer monetary union and bullying countries about thier finances.

Go back to being a trading and commerce block.

Why am I the only one to answer this? I've been at work and come home to lots of 'May baiting' by disgruntled people but ask the question posed here and it's just me!!

Actually I would add.... Go back to being a trading and commerce block that doesn't hinder national interests elsewhere.

thanks for your efforts cassa but really I was asking how the EU could be persuaded to/not do those kinds of things. Yes I too am surprised at the lack of responses to this. Perhaps the remoaners are getting embarrassed by St Tony and his antics.

How can the EU be persuaded? Walk away. A few home truths would settle in their back yard quickly enough.

Not ideal all round I imagine but watching our backsides sashay out the room would go some way to prove we are fed up with their tactics.

But as I said earlier the only way I would change my mind is if they did what I suggested. But that isn't going to happen so they will nevertheless get my vote to stay, remain or re-enter.

There probably is a route where the EU could give the UK and other nations what they want but ..... I wouldnt trust them one little bit that in a few years they would be back on the same pathway again.

The whole point of leaving was that we didn't trust the corrupt EU superstate - the concept that we'd believe any assurances about future treatment from those same trough-feeders is laughable.

Surely they could think of offering to still trade with us as THE COMMON MARKET, which is what we as a nation voted for in the first place. We can still have BREXIT, rule ourselves from Westminster instead of being overlorded by a corrupt EU. WE have our own borders back, controls our own immigration & be as we were before the EU wanted to control the lot. Too much to ask for ??
