Once again you are twisting what I am saying.

Human nature is a concept of behaviour, and reference to it does not make it the same as being 'human'.

I am not making any kind of apology, 'PC' or otherwise, so in your turn, please stop reading your own notions into my posts and then criticising me as though I have said something which I have not said at all.

While my wife was looking round a shop near Durban last year I was chatting to the shopkeeper. He told me his family had been sheep farmers for three generations, but were evicted from the land when the local council designated their farm to be in a new 'blacks only' area.

He showed me a file he maintained of all the (mainly white) farmers murdered in the country. He said it averaged more than one a day over the eight years he had had been keeping the record.

I was rather skeptical of this number until he then brought out a file of news clippings of such murders. Most were only tiny, one or two paragraphs long: they were not big news stories any more.

The horror of such happenings were brought closer to home when, a few months later, a close friend's brother-in-law was waylaid at his remote farm, tortured until he had opened his safe, and then hacked to pieces.

That farm will now probably be left to return to scrub land it was before.

Personally, I don't discriminate my donations on the basis of the skin colour of the people who need help - I suspect the majority of people don't.
