I am sure there is an element of ‘copy cat’ about this sort of incident. As with shootings in the US. Driving a car into pedestrians is such a nihilistic and murderous thing to do and it must occur to some just how easy it is. Can’t get a gun? Get a van.

This is very confused thread.. It's a tragic killing and we need to find ways to stop these events happening. As far as I can see no-one disagrees with that. I don't think anyone has said if it's a mental health issue then that's all right- yet some seem to think that is what was said or is meant.
The title is puzzling because as far as we know the attack on this occasion is not an issue of Islam or race or where xenophobia fits in.
Maybe it's not gone quite according to plan yet
