Air strikes on strategic sites just completed ...USA , UK and France led the way it seems...good thing ? What russian reprisals will follow ?

I am against the air strikes. It will not solve anything, innocents may get killed. There have been many protests here, all anti Trump!

I lived in Norfolk during the Iraq business... it was scary listening to the bombers from Mildenhall and Coltishall going over through the night, we always knew when something had happened before the news..it was scary waiting for some kind of reprisal attack...

No surprise it occurred, just the timing we were unsure of. Wonder now whether the intent is to follow up or simply leave it there.

Unsure what Russia can or will do. Even Putin can't want a major global conflict involving their own country, even though he's been pushing his weight around every opportunity he's created, apparently trying to cause friction/cold war. So sad they put a hard-liner in power and threw away the advancment during the Gorbachev's glasnost years during the 80s.

Maybe they'll turn their gas pipe off in a fit of pique ?
