Yes. I don't particularly care about the legal niceties. There was no urgency required in this action (if it was due to chemical weapons) except for the American timetable, and therefore she was morally obliged to consult parliament as Cameron did. I imagine, however, that she was concerned about losing the vote and also that the US has learned from last time - i.e. that waiting for trivial little things like parliamentary approval includes the risk of losing.

I disagree entirely with the action taken because it could result in wide-ranging and unforeseen (at least by some politicians) consequences - but as far as I'm aware she didn't need parliamentary approval.

Decisions have to be made and it is the difficult one's that cause controversy.
My opinion, for what it is worth, Macron and Trump were all systems go and so was the UK government.........so.....decide.
May had no legal requirement to call Parliament for a vote , so she didn't.
Good or bad, advised or ill advised a decision was made......now support it.
