This has been all over Twitter but I haven't seen it here so I thought I'd bring it up. Melania went to Texas, to visit the poor kids separated from their parents in the immigrants detention centre, wearing a jacket with the slogan "I really don't care. Do U?"

When I saw the pic on Twitter I really thought it had been Photoshopped, but no. She really did wear it. Now I can understand she doesn't want to turn up all dressed in Givenchy or whatever. The jacket was from Zara, but why pick a jacket with that slogan? What is she doing!

Going there with that jacket is an action, NoM. It speaks volumes about her indifference, lack of preparation and (frankly) unsuitability.

Honestly if someone had predicted this would happen in November 2016, they would have been mocked and derided for being a fantasist. Now that it has everyone is scrabbling desperately to make excuses for it.

Whatever the slogan means, the bottom line is that she is one smart, well dressed woman and I don't see why she should have "dressed down" to visit the poor Mexican children of illegal immigrants.
