The Sun does present a somewhat different version of events, specifically that the confrontation was with one person, while others were 'nearby', which is somewhat different from the way the Mail recounts the events.

If I'm reading this right - and do bear in mind I never attempt to impress, nor to be either trendy or 'right on' - if a confrontational group of men turn up at someone's house - even if that someone is a despised 'middle Englander' - the worst crime is not calling them names. I don't blame him for arming himself. So would I.
