A perfect and shinning (literally) example of how to behave, even when you loose.

Well done.

Maybe not that literal:
gerund or present participle: shinning
climb quickly up or down by gripping with one's arms and legs.
"he shinned up a tree"
Yes, they're culturally streets ahead of us in many respects.
Absolutely, you can't fault that. Mind you they don't employ school janitors in Japan, it's part of the kids education to clean the school, and teaches them respect for themselves, their working environment and other pupils and teachers as a result, so it's very much culturally ingrained. Love it x
Ta ymb - that's brilliant. They've done themselves & their country proud, especially after playing their socks off but losing in a highly enjoyable 2nd half, one of the best of the tournament so far.

Try telling that to any of their WW2 POWs
It's not WW2 AOG, that ended 73 years ago.
Wonderful example of how to behave, ta.
They are very disciplined people in all walks of life.
yep, I've always admired the Kitchens for their respect of others.

Yes AOG, that was my first thought, but perhaps WW2 taught them a thing or two.
Respect, discipline and obedience (sometimes misplaced)has been the backbone of their culture.
Would be interesting a wee sneak look at England dressing 10 o’clock to night
I wish I could afford to go to the Rugby World Cup next year. Would be amazing.

Come on AOG these young people had nothing to do with that and dont you wish some of that culture was ingrained into ours?
>>>even when you loose.

The opposite of TIGHT (tight trousers) is LOOSE

The opposite of WIN (win a match) is LOSE
Thanks for posting, ymb - great to see.
