When I read this I was in disbelief, I just couldn't get that some still believe you can change the way someone is born in this day and age, it's just disgusting and inedible.

Just who are these people? Religious fanatics I suppose make up the bulk but if so how do you stop it as much is done in secret and 'voluntary'.

Spath many gay children get ostracised by their parents for being gay. For life! Gay people get set upon and beaten in the street for no other reason than being gay. In other parts of the world they get thrown off buildings for being gay. I know a gay couple who want to move from Brighton as property is so expensive, but are afraid to do so, as they feel safe here. If you're gay you have to be careful where you move to. Why would anyone say they were gay if they weren't?
