Spath, I'll ask you a simple question. Please, please try to be honest with me. Not to much to ask, is it?
When have Muslims not had the right to practise their religion freely in this country?

The mail eh? ...... They do rather scrape the barrel. I have a feeling that quite often they sit down the local pub and see what the next outrageous nonsense they can make up...and if it stirs up a bit of hatred then they get an extra tenner in their ay packet. Lets be honest most people who are anti Trump have huge sympathy for their pain

Never.. They've always been allowed to practise their religion freely...
That's got nout to do with how they're perceived and how they're ridiculed.".
How are they perceived, Spath? Differently from Sikhs or Hindus? And if so, why?

Americans warned to keep a low profile??If I was American and a Trump supporter that would be like a' red rag to a bull' to me. There must be lots of Trumps American supporters just dying to start trouble. Insulting their leader with a nappy clad baby balloon flying overhead and snidy remarks flying left, right and centre.
No matter what our personal opinions of Donald Trump are we should as a nation, accord some civility and politeness to a visiting President .

Spath, you do talk some twaddle at times. Have you ever played Spot the Difference? Try it. Have a quiet sit down and ask yourself why Muslims are perceived as they are and Buddhists, Hindus and Sikhs are perceived differently. You say ‘sheer Islamophobia’, but why would that be? Really, why? I’ll be interested in hearing your explanation.
The US embassy is probably exercising caution. I don’t believe American citizens will come to grief – unless they say they’re Trump supporters. With that mob mentality I wouldn’t want to guarantee their safety then.
As for the demonstrators, apart from creating mayhem and costing the country a lot of money in the process, I don’t know what they expect to achieve. Mr Trump knows he’s unpopular with the hysterical herd. He’s known it since he took office when within days the Sandi Toksvigs of this world and the ‘Me Me Me’ brigade (all of whom incidentally appear to completely ignore the plight of women in Islam) took to the streets with their banners, so he’s used to it. He’s not going to resign because a few thousand idiots in a foreign country play with dopey balloons and shout and bawl at him. If the demonstration had the potential to achieve a practical purpose, fine, but it doesn’t and therefore in my opinion it’s an utterly futile exercise.
