the media reported that the good people of Salisbury had on request deluged the police with their home CCTV files

and using face recognition they had matched this against arrivals from flights from Moscow at That Time in July.
and got a few hits .....

The Russians goolies must have dropped off when they heard what GCHQ had been doing. or perhaps it is all fantasy ....

much played down later in the day .... er oh you want a question - er do you think this is credible - or typical false planted news ?

i'm a little sceptical of their claims to recognise faces from home and commercial premises cctv - in my experience what you end up with is something that was probably painted by Picasso.......

Why are the police/ media making this information or misinformation public thus thwarting any possibility of of bringing the ALLEGED perps to justice?

What will stop the alleged people bring brought to justice will be the fact that the Russians will never extradite them. In fact they’ll probably end up in the state Duma like Andrei Lugovoy.
Bewilderingly, Victoria Skripal, the cousin of Yulya, is now also a member of the duma.
By the way did you know that since the attacks in March brands of beer and vodka called Novichok are now in sale in Russia.

I’d say this is true alright.

I think it is true
when the London bombers fled to Brum they were tracked by ANPR to their evil thieves lair etc
and the firm running it did £1bn business in sales the next day

I think they have managed to computerise it

1996 Irish Bombs in Manchester they persuaded witnesses ( and their employers ) to watch endless videos of CCTV in case they recognised anyone
and after a week - they said honestly we would rather turn up to work and work !

It’s amazing that they can spend thousands of hours trawling CCTV, taking hundreds of hours and countless £s to find two people but given actual footage of a criminal using a stolen credit card they take no action because no one at the station recognised him.

What is amazing re the investigation is what actually can be found out now using a variety of sources. The problem is sadly the killers will be out of our jurisdiction.
Lugovoy did *** it up actually: a lot of the polonium was spilt down the sink otherwise Litvinenko would have died a quick and probably forever unexplained death
