It's just been mentioned on Radio 4 news that if 10% of his constituents petitioned for it a by election would have to be called.
Where could I view this petition?

I see that one was rejected. Could the Paisley dynasty be coming to a grubby end? There's more than 10% of his constituents would be happy to see him go and he's not that popular with many of the bigwigs in the DUP.
Question Author
I almost wished I lived in his constituency.
Don’t see the point. All the people who don’t like him will sign the petition and ehrn the by election happened assuming he stands all the people who DO like him will vote him back in again :-)

Mr Bercow will now formally inform the chief electoral officer of the decision and she has ten working days to set up a petition which, if signed by 10% of North Antrim constituents, will lead to a by-election and Mr Paisley having to stand down.

As his father might have bellowed: Be sure your sins shall find you out.
Let’s face it sandy North Antrim is going to return a DUP MP either in a by election or at the next election. And it’ll probably be Ian junior again unless the DUP sack him. Sammy Wilson (a man recently classed as being in his own one-man parliamentary Brexit faction his views are so extreme) is already fighting the good fight on his behalf.

DUP voters would vote for a ragged coat hung on a stick. So if Paisley gets his party's backing he'll be back.
I'm hoping his foes in the leadership edge him out.
He could go on another holiday , !!
Question Author
A holidays not quite the same when you have to pay for it yourself.
He pays for his own holidays ? :-)
He went on a free junket, and didn’t declare it. Naughty but hardly an hanging offence.
58% of his constituents didn’t vote for him at the General Election, so 10% signing a petition is not at all significant.
As Ich says, a by election will just return him again anyway, be has a big majority.

North Down - once Enoch Powells
priddy place .... mountains of Mourne etc
Was that ‘spot the deliberate mistake’ Peter.
Antrim hills yes, Mournes are in Sinn Fein territory :-)
Enoch was beautiful South Down. North Down is so dull the unionists turn in their ennui to maverick parties like the Bangor Unionist Movement - Kincora Wing :-)
Allegedly
