Racist Poster?

Hot off the back of the bedwetters at Manchester University last week, we now have Wolverhampton yanking a 'Racist and Colonialist' poster, with one student commenting "It's just an awful poster and screams racism to me...", and lecturer at Newman saying "There's strands of colonialism, patriotism, racism, gender issues" (bloody hell, could she crowbar anything else in?).

Perhaps it's me, but I don't see anything racist or colonialist in this. What I see is a white woman with black children.

and then has a photo of someone like me in a cute rowing blazer braying like a Royal.....

It seems to me that the complainers haven’t looked at the poster and what it intends.

They are saying broaden your horizons, see new lands, new people and new ways of doing things. What is wrong with that?

Perhaps they should just make more posters with different cultures etc.

The first thing I think about is shouldn't these students concentrate on studies rather than involvement in other things that are nowt to do with them ?

I imagine that most, if not all, of these students and instructors who become outraged over such ridiculous matters are studying or teaching so called mickey mouse courses. I don't think that you'd find to many medical or engineering students being bothered with such issues.
