Shoot to kill? Fine by me. Perhaps if that was the expectation, they’d think twice before invading. Europe will wake up when it’s too late.
er why are we trying to 'solve' euro-problems when we are just about to leave ?
I know - it is froo the goodness of our hearts and our duty in charity to assist ! [even tho we are on the way out]
Ceuta and Boo-boo ( the other place - there ) are enclaves in Morocco, and they may well have an internal border - I am not sure if there is free entry to Ethpanya if you uget into Ceuta
I suspect not
2001 - the spanith authorities got some Ceutans or Moroccans and just locked them outside the city. When the Moroccans woke up from Eid - they thay - "that's a bit unfair- it was a public holiday in M when you did that two days ago"
hey did you see Kate Birley on Sky pronounce Ceuta ( thewter rhyming wiv pewter ) as Quetta - which kinda rhymes wiv Betta ?

We are still Europeans, and if neighbours have their society crippled by excess African population rushing in, overpopulating, using up any resources, looking for any wealth Europe has managed to create, then our country is still next door. It's in everyone's interest to have some order and encourage poorer areas to improve themselves rather that rush over and grab from elsewhere. They need to remove strife, improve commerce, protect their people, and ensure no excess population growth that they feel a need to offload elsewhere.
erm sorry
Ceuta is in Africa
see map
semper aliquid novum ex Africa
sorry I am trying to 'up' the standard of the discussion.
problem wiv Pliny 's sexcription is that he was referring to the province of Africa which was confined to Egypt.

//It looks like people escaping/fleeing from these African countries//
These are not people ‘escaping’ or ‘fleeing’. They’re chancers.
1,300 have reached the Spanish mainland in the past three days and the refugee centres there are at breaking point.

I simply fail to understand the thinking of the foolish European governments in continuing to facilitate this exodus from Africa - because that's what they're doing.
