I saw for the very first time yesterday, a woman in the full burqa. Everybody was looking at her and I found it very distressing that anybody would want to go out on a warm day dressed like that, so completely covered up. It was hard to hear her talk at the till in the shop and anyone could have been hidden under there. To be frank, I also didn't feel safe and I wasn't the only one. I agree with everything naomi has said and I simply do not understand how anyone can defend, in any way, such a garment!
