I am not certain but I would imagine name calling is not really acceptable here...particularly labeling anyone as a 'savage' Anyway...that's my opinion..stated without calling anyone names!
MallyJ , the name-calling ‘rule’ here refers to interaction between contributors. If such a rule were applied to others, a huge proportion of posts about Trump, Tommy Robinson, Theresa May - and even some about Gloria Hunniford - would have been removed. However unsavoury it may be to some, free speech must prevail.
Well aren’t we getting our Alans in a Brahms. The “savage” comment is meant, in this case, to be TIC, harking back to AOGs original usage. It has since been used by many in similar circumstances for all colours and creeds. In some cases deserved and in others meant more lightly as a nostalgic comment. I thought that most regulars knew that. Anyway we are always being told by TROB that the law knows what it is doing even if we don’t always comprehend it so I was bemused that they saw fit to prosecute for manslaughter by negligence (ring any bells?) and yet the doctor was subsequently reinstated.
Doctors make mistakes......all doctors....the more junior the doctor the more mistakes are made,and the mistakes lessen as the seniority of doctors increase until at Consultant level, fewer mistakes are made.
She is a pediatrician, black and relatively experienced, hence an ideal scapegoat.

A "savage?"...LOL....LOL....then the NHS is staffed mainly by savages...a ridiculous term to use.
