oh come on boys and gurlz
charging is not a guilt-finding event
we know all that from the Ben Stokes case
( But it could be - as in modern Japan or the French Terror ( 1793 ). you can tell by the conviction rates . If they are greater than 90% then the charging probably IS the guilt finding event). sozza my year's sociotobly coming out again.
dubbl sozza - I get bored with the usual 31 men may be bad and so the whole damned lot of them are bad - with the usual 100 first answers c/p'd

You mean that some people from Yorkshire have 'NOT' stood by or turned a blind eye in the name of diversity?
Please tell me more.

Well, I didn't know about this ring of criminals, but I'm Yorkshire through and through and I assure you, AOG, that I most certainly did not 'stand by' or 'turn a blind eye' to abuses of which I became aware, especially when they were concerning pupils I knew. A shocking assertion by you. Many people had suspicions about all sorts of things going on in the communities and reported them - but it is hard to prove from outside. Look up that very brave M.P. Anne Cryer (Lab. Keighley - and that will be the next place to blow, I expect) and see what happened to her.
^^ OK AOG, small rant over, I've re-read your post at 15.57 and it is phrased differently than accusing us all. I still think that it is a sweeping statement - but some people in the police, social services etc.may have stood by, they may well not have been from Yorkshire, however. We don't have border controls -yet!

I did not say you or any of your fellow Yorkshire men or women stood by, read the post that I address to both Togo and Mamyalynne.
Apologies from me if you misunderstood what I put.

The snide implication behind most of these posts (to give them a fancy name) is that there is some organic, inherent link between abusing young women, and being a Moslem man.
This not only insults the intelligence of any right-thinking non-Moslem person, but utterly insults the tens and tens of thousands of Moslem men who lead perfectly 'normal' family lives, and would no more dream of abusing a young girl than you would, or I would.
Shame on you, shame on you, shame on you.

bainrig: "The snide implication behind most of these posts (to give them a fancy name) is that there is some organic, inherent link between abusing young women, and being a Moslem man" - Like it or not there is an inherent disrespect of western women from muslim men and many go on to think they are "fair game" and thus this sort thing is common.
