sanmac - // Do the maths and how many do you get? //
Your point presupposes that it is a mathematical certainty that a pre-determined number of Muslims are going to take over the world, which is a fallacy. We are dealing with people who think for themselves, not pre-programmed robots.
And as I have said many many times on this site, if Muslims are so determined to 'take over the world' - can you possibly confirm what's keeping them?
The Taliban started their intended takeover of Afghanistan in 1995, Al Qaeda formed in 2004.
Since, and we can agree on this, Muslims are certainly not short on numbers, I can only conclude that they are actually short on people who want to take over anywhere.
Unless you can explain their apparent feet-dragging in some other way?

/// I understand the difference between being a 'Muslim fan' and someone who simply can't abide endless grinding negative attacks on the faith day after day, because it is unfair and unjustified. ///
Neither unfair or unjustified, it is because this is the news section and 'the faith' and it's followers get in the news day after day, and not for beneficial reasons either.

To be accurate - the murderous terrorists who use their twisted vision of Islam to justify their behaviour get in the news day after day - the faith and its followers just get on with the business of living, like the rest of us.
