Teenage girl simply asserting her rights to jump about, her entitlement to take a police officer’s taser from him, and what did the brute do? He slapped her!

But she obviously WAS restrained eventually (the vid only shows a minute of footage of a struggle) Again, the police have guidelines to follow. If it was you or me, we could have restrained that girl within seconds with a quick punch and then slapping the bracelets on. But we arnt the police with procedures to follow.

IMO, *from what we can see*, the police have acted correctly in restraining a 14-year old girl (not "lady", not "woman") who is probably fighting that hard to earn her own 15 minutes of fame.

I too am no fan of the Old Bill, but I cant see what they have done wrong here. If anything I think they have been very restrained.

Anyone who thinks it is easy to control a teenager kicking off clearly has not tried it.

Spath. if you'd Tasered the 'Lady' in that close contact situation you would have shocked yourself via contact with her, there are guidelines and commonsense to be considered
