Who knows there may be many more, this character will most likely keep giving, until the end of his term in office.
Boris Johnson is a typical upper class English man in high office and he, too, is a laughing stock and an embarrassment, bringing shame on his position around the world. Sadly he won't be gone in a few months.

Seems a less that serious image for such an office, but if it's what the public voted for and the job gets done, then fine.

I was unaware that the public vote in their Lord Mayors.
I wasn't technically born in Britain but hold a UK passport - does that mean I am not British?
Personally I think he is a breath of fresh air.
We have always 'slowly' changed elements of our culture and traditions, and will no doubt continue to do so.
He's different that's true, the next Mayor may be more in the old mould - who knows.
Whenever I see someone with a base ball cap on backwards I have the urge to ask them where they bought it, since the ones I see in all the shops have the brim at the front.
British culture and traditions do change, which is why you aren't a slave.

Yes there is even a post about it as I am unable to get a driving licence as it is still under investigation - because I was not born in Britain - it doesn't make me or him any less British!

Goodness I don't believe there are any rules on how a British mayor should dress - you should see the lovely lady mayor that Belfast has and before that we had a gay Mayor - shock horror!
