Poor girl, my heart bleeds for her.
Blame the sentencing judge who set a minimum of only six years.
Question Author
minimum is irrelevant, he's got life, they are always telling me that can mean life, so keep the savage in.
TTT,//they are always telling me that can mean life//
Who is always telling you this?
Poor girl.
She always knew this day would come, however I still feel for Katie.

Let us hope they've got this one right.
Despite having a minimum term of 6 years he's served nine.
He's said to have avoided anti social behaviour while in prison. You might think that wouldn't be too difficult.
I feel sorry for Katie Piper and hope that this event will not badly affect her life and all the successes she has made for herself.
Whilst her assailant may be leaving prison, I don't think she has anything further to fear from him. He seems to be a weak character who carried out the attack at the behest of her ex-boyfriend; he has no personal animosity towards her and seems to have taken steps, whilst in prison, to turn his life round and give himself the best chance of living a decent life.
Ah, but, jth....he's a "savage".
//He seems to be a weak character who carried out the attack at the behest of her ex-boyfriend; he has no personal animosity towards her //

Which, in my opinion, makes his crime worse. He can't even claim anger or jealousy ... or anything at all. He did that to her in cold blood.

alleluia JTT, that's ok then!
Where did I say that, Geezer?

He's been in longer than he might have been.
Keeping him in for Life is an unrealistic prospect and it is better that he comes out 'rehabilitated', isn't it?
Question Author
no, you believe all that rehab pony? you lefty types are so gullible. It's better that life means life and he doesn't come out at all, end of.
Oh dear...
Not subscribing to the 'hang 'em...flog 'em' point of view makes me a Leftie, does it? LoL

I think you need to rework and update your routine, geezer, it's got a bit stale...
ooh i can answer this one, i can answer this one

he told them at an oral hearing he wouldnt do it or anything like it again and how hes such a nice person now after this life changing spell at her majesties leisure in one of her finest hotels......

and yes , the parole board with their degrees in social services and libtard leanings yet again had the wool pulled firmly over their eyes and decided he is telling them the truth and is a reformed character....

I would love to hear the guff this piece of lowlife trash told them and seen the starry eyed look on their faces as they literally swallowed it all , hook line and sinker...

have you considered a career with the parole board ?...seems like youd be ideal material
should feel the end of a rope...deterrent
Savages like this need the rope.

Long Drop, Short Rope, No problem.
That tends to yank the head off, not too pleasant for thoe clearing up.

Mr Peirpoint had the calcs right, sufficient drop for the weight, snap the gregory and all sorted.
