I think you are all (well mainly all) missing the point. Here we have a leader (or at least a prominent figure) suggesting that because Islam has been insulted it justifies violence of an extreme nature being visited on the country in which the insult originated. It doesn't matter whether he has the capability to carry out his threat or the power to do so. There...

Well I have read through my replies and can't see anything slightly amusing, because that was not my intention.
My headline was created to stimulate a debate on the feasibility of such attacks, all in the name of a cartoon.

It wasn’t the headline AOG and it’s a perfectly valid thing to bring up: it was just the idea that the fact the missiles couldn’t reach (notwithstanding the threat of nuclear terrorism which I’m fault sure wasn’t what this character was on about) was not the point.

Yes I agree perhaps nuclear weapons is a bit far fetched, but the threat of it has been announced from what one could describe as a leader, one in a position to gain widespread support, and also a person who harbours such thoughts ie “only jihad” is the solution.
