I love dogs, big dogs especially and have been lucky enough to have lived with two great lads. But I am aware that, for many reasons, dogs attack and can inflict some serious damage or, sometimes, kill people.

The injuries that this dog attack has incurred sound awful. I would still have another dog but they can be a small danger to humans, children and other animals.

Dog lovers everywhere remember this: all of those cuddly little "friends" are descended from wolves.
A dog's not for me. Not even for Christmas.
Men never cease to amaze me...( nor women for that matter) Peanut butter on his privates ???? At 22 ? Oh my god..........what on earth was he thinking ( or not ). A DOG going there ? He must have a few screws loose.
I sure noticed and I have noticed the same snakey response when you appear from certain quarters.
It bothers me not, says more about them than it does about me.
Who are you refering to Retrocop ?
That's the Spirit. :-) xxx
Not you Samuraisan. Rest assured.
Well some find a life changing injury and the death of a dog funny; others don't. I can see why on both sides. But let's not turn it into a unrelated personal thing eh?
Don't feel sorry for the bloke at all actually!
I feel sorry for the dog that has paid the ultimate price for someones kinky sex game!
I'm with RR.

Nowt funny about this news story at all. The poor dog paid the ultimate price for that sadistic young mans pleasure. I just sincerely hope he's got a lifetime of surgery, pain and embarrassment ahead of him.
i feel sorry for the guy; plenty of people make stupid mistakes with unfortunate consequences, but it doesn't sound as though he was any sort of monster. I certainly can't see any reason for killing the dog, though: he hadn't gone feral, he was apparently just obeying his master.
save me reading through all these posts - will someone tell me what he was up to , which caused the dog to bite his thingy off
//Peanut butter on his privates ???? At 22 ?//
you make it sound as if it's a regular pastime for teenage lads

22 is a teenage lad ??????
//Peanut butter on his privates ???? At 22 ?//

Makes it sound like a habit he should have grown out of by now.
you miss my point baldric, the post suggests that he should have grown out of it by the time he was twenty two

Didn't miss anything Ael, badly presented post imo.
People do strange and weird things ...this went horribly wrong it's not the dogs fault

I suppose the risk is that the dog having done it once would go for anyone else he/she met who had applied peanut butter/marmite whatever to their private parts.
what a truly bizarre story, horrendous to think what happened.
