Good Heavens! Fuss about nothing. If it hadn't been for poor Jo Cox everyone would have recognised metaphorical hyperbole. 'Stabbing someone in the Back' is perfectly well known. Not a big deal.
I was always taught 'Sticks and stones may break my bones - mere names will never hurt me'. I have no problem with this. People are frustrated, words will be said. NOTE words, not deeds.
