Evil And Wicked
Investigations are currently being carried out in County Galway at the site of a former Institution run by Catholics for unmarried girls and women known as "Fallen Women". Up to 800 bodies of babies and children are being discovered in a Septic Tank! Apparently bodies were discovered in the grounds of this Institution around 40 years ago; the explanation given at that time was that they had died of famine. There are no records of any of these deaths.

At this point it scarcely matters if they're prosecuted or not bth, all of the evil, mad old bitches will be dead or so old that they would be impossible to prosecute, they should just be shamed and shamed and shamed as publicly as possible and the dead buried and honoured with as much care and tenderness as we as a nation can muster, and the compassion that we would not afford them in life.

Estimates vary, but even the more conservative figures are gobsmacking.

I seen it said, "it is estimated by reputable and trustworthy historians that tens of millions of people have been tortured and killed by Papal persecutors for the crime of believing God’s word in the Bible, rather than the dogmas of the Roman Catholic Church." Nothing to indicate where that figure came from but it doesn't say 50-100 million does it?
Not exactly the most unbiased of articles, although I agree that a lot of people suffered. One glaring error: the Inquisition never reached the shores of England. Even at the height of the Marian persecutions, when our own heresy laws were enforced, the Inquisition was denied entry, despite the protests of Mary's husband. The Church and parliament would not stand for it.
