Here we go again....Boris is very good at telling us what he does not want but totally silent on any constructive proposals. Who listens? Let's all forget the fantasy that is Brexit.

What makes you think we are going to be pushed around by bigger powers?

In any case what we would need is a government that has balls. Not the appeasnics we have now.
I think Rich likes to throw in a hand grenade or two and wait for the explosions, going on his previous posts.
They must explode in his face a lot then lol
cassa, i have conversed, for want of a better word, with Rich any number of times and his questions are always loaded, Scottish Independence for one, that usually starts a plethora of rude comments, and many rhubarbs later we don't get a reply from him because he is chortling away at our stupidity in being so baited, at least that's what i think happens.
//What makes you think we are going to be pushed around by bigger powers?//

Because the simple fact is we're a relatively small power, and in a no-deal scenario we're going to need replacement trade deals more urgently than the people who can offer them need them. Economies like the US are too big to ignore and will essentially be in a position to dictate terms to us.
You can only be pushed around if you allow it.

Many small countries do very well ‘even though’ they are small.

Nothing in life is guaranteed and things can go up or down at any moment but inaction because you think the worst is worse than making a bad decision.

Name all the bigger powers...if you have the time (0bviously there must be many)
// //Here we go again//
What are you talking about? Where are we going?

exactly what I think when I see Boris
Boris this afternoon said, "This is vassal state stuff" - nothing alternative - just boris blaaarting again. He has his go and blown it.

In a no-deal scenario, we will have allowed it.

//Many small countries do very well ‘even though’ they are small. //

Right. But these are not generally speaking countries who put themselves in a position where they need to go cap in hand looking for trade deals. That's what a no-deal scenario will involve.
