I'd be feeling a bit sheepish in his position. Although his faction were apparently united in hating May's deal, getting them to actually do anything about it seems to be like herding cats. How embarrassing.
Props to JRM for at least trying to take responsibility, though.
Mr Rees-Moggy has seriously misjudged it - yes 15% of MPs are needed to trigger a vote against May - but there's another 85% out there, some 270 of them and which way are they going to go......I would say at least 200 of them will back May, the fear of Corbyn getting in - and thank goodness that there is some common sense as most likely he'll be an unmitigated disaster.
IMO removing May won't let Corbyn in. Losing the voter's faith by allowing her to stay and get this disasterous draft plan through would certainly let Labour win by a landslide next time.
yes....and they haven't really let the Czech dogs loose on him yet to undermine his candidacy. Now if they have Sir K-Smith, they would have a lot more credibility with the centrist voters.
It must be so inspiring to see the Brexit "people's champion", who would lead our country into glory if only he were in charge, apparently incapable of even organising his own motley crew of rebels...
