And... Why on earth wouldn’t the EU 27 agree the deal.

Junker and co wrote it so they get the very best out of it and don’t have the pesky British putting their oar in.

Win win for the EU. Lose Lose for the UK.

Fair point, Fender, except that they are too small to go it on their own. If Treason May surrenders them they will have no option but to join Spain.
Who needs enemies with friends like Fender.
-Talbot-, funny on a sinking ship
FENDER, why do you say Orangemen are not British? Their relatives volunteered to fight for and defend this country.
THECORBYLOON
Its name is a tribute to the Dutch-born Protestant king William of Orange, who defeated the army of Catholic king James II in the Williamite–Jacobite War, i think most brits in the 21 century are sick and tired of all the mmm bull** marches, childish we beat you
You may not like their opinions but that does not explain why you say they're not British. Why would they have volunteered to fight for this country, knowing they could die in the process?
Gibraltar never voted for Brexit, they had the highest anti- pbrexit vote in the referendum, I think it was 90- 10 in favour of remain.

Spain has effectively said, they want to stick to the old (present rules) and Gibraltar has bitten their hand off in agreement.
Nowt will change, so all sides are happy.
The Spanish govt - with whom no other country in the EU has any sympathy - are calling it a great moment in the cause of Spanish Gibraltar unification. Which almost certainly is a load of &@“£. They always do this when there’s an election on.
Meanwhile I’m wondering if Fender has been on a bender :-)
THECORBYLOON, yes they did, but if there allegiance is to holland
then they are not brits ie orange order, wave the flags in holland
i think most brits are sick to death of marches of triumphalism
again the 21 century..enough
My dad was in the Orange Order (and the RBP)
I wondered why he always ate Gouda cheese lol
A little (or less) knowledge is a dangerous thing.
triumphalism and all it entails belongs in the past, it might be hard for some to forget, but to put that burdon on the next generation is not right...for the sake of it mmm dad said it was right so did his, change needs to be, now and through the next generation, let it be a foot not in history
Allegiance to Holland will explain why there's so many Lodges in The Netherlands...
The wooden clogs are a bit of a giveaway.
Beavers too, place is overrun with them.
Lough Neagh was only a pond 'til the beavers took a hold.
I wonder if the Spanish will be talking to Morocco about Ceuta and Melilla too?
Fender: just to be clear, the question of Gilbraltar's independence has been put to the people twice: on both times, they said a most resounding "no" to that idea, or to joint Spanish-UK rule.

Gilbraltar's staying.
The 2002 joint sovereignty with Spain vote in Gibraltar had an 87.9% turnout and 98.97% voted against it.
"Gilbraltar's staying."

So what "assurances" have Spain received to change their attitude from threatening to boycott tomorrow's summit to saying "this is the greatest thing for Gibraltar in 300 years"? Will we (or our MPs) be told?
