Why does that surprise you?
Racial attacks are common.
Attacks on Fire and Ambulance Emergency services.
Attacks on teachers and headmasters.
Knife attacks out of control.
What does surprise me is the suggestion that we are living in a safer and less violent society.
Respect is just a word in a dictionary and the sooner corporal punishment is reinstated .....the better.
Sorry, lol- I was just picking holes in sqad's post really. His post seems to be saying that its a fault of our modern society why this kind of thing occurs- when a few of your posts clearly states that this isn't so.
Just imagine if some toddler had slit an artery on there. I cannot think of a punishment that would do justice this truly sickening and mindless crime.
Well...I was born in the 30's....I suspect that mamy et al were born in the 40's.......and i was born on the wrong side of the track, BUT in the recreation grounds of where I lived, there were no such dangerous atrocities.
Yes.......i am laying the blame on modern society.
