There are roughly 315 Tory MPs?
Allegedly about 100 are set to vote against. Allowing for that and a handful of Labour and possibly the unionist Lady Herman voting for, that makes around 225. That leaves around 315 to vote against. If I was a betting man that’s how I’d be going.
Paddy power offers 5/1 for between 220 and 229 voting in favour, ikky. BTW, assuming all MPs vote, if 225 vote in favour, 425 will vote
against.
Yes lots of MPs talk a good talk when threatening to vote against the government. Many of them fall by the wayside when push comes to shove. This, however, may be somewhat different.
